Yesterday we announced the release of Tristen’s American Myth Debut. Charlatans At The Garden Gate will be coming out February 1st 2011. For those who simply can’t wait, a 7″ of the single “Eager For Your Love” is available on the road at shows and via Mail Order from our site. Visit Tristen’s page to check it out.
You can also get a FREE download of the song “Baby Drugs” by tweeting or Liking the song on Facebook. Spread the word! http://www.tweetforatrack.com/Tristen
We were also very excited to learn that the song “Matchstick Murder” from the forthcoming album was played on KCRW’s “Morning Becomes Eclectic” this AM. According to them, host Jason Bently “listened to her album last night and had to play it right away.”
Linfinity have been busy at work drawing up a couple of covers of their favorite artists. They’ve put together two great covers of Talking Heads’ “Road To Nowhere” and Ben. E. King’s “Spanish Harlem”
You can download both below for the price of an email. Be sure to check out an original too if you haven’t already. Give a listen to the song “Molly Mar of Rome” below.

Not too Shabby! American Myth Recording artists take up two spots on the Wall Street Journal’s “12 Best Bands” appearing at CMJ 2011.
WSJ writes that Tristen “brings a blossoming pop sensibility to her witty, not-as-sweet-as-it-seems country.” and Linfinity “sounds like the offspring of David Byrne and the Band: The New York quintet’s songs are compact yet anthematic, and they spice up their arrangements with violins and inventive percussion under Dylan Von Wagner’s expressive vocals. When the spirits moves them, they can boogie too.”
Hey Friends, if you’re in NYC for CMJ be sure to come out to Pianos Wednesday Night for our official showcase! We’re proud to be showcasing the talent from our artists Paul & The Patients, Linfinity, and Tristen. And also extremely happy to have the wonderful individuals in Teltextile and Gobble Gobble as our esteemed guests.
Wednesday October 20th at Pianos (upstairs) 158 Ludlow St., NYC – FREE
